Refund Policy

Last updated: 11 May 2026

This policy explains when DocChase offers refunds for subscription fees. It operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial without a credit card. No charge applies during the trial.

2. Monthly subscriptions

  • Cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
  • We do not pro-rate or refund partial months once a billing period has started, except where required by law.

3. Annual subscriptions

  • 30-day money-back guarantee: if you cancel within 30 days of an annual payment, you receive a full refund.
  • After 30 days, the annual subscription is non-refundable for the unused portion, except where required by the ACL.

4. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. If DocChase fails to meet a consumer guarantee — for example, it is not fit for purpose or not delivered with due care and skill — you are entitled to:

  • A refund or resupply of the service for a major failure, at your choice; and
  • Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

For non-major failures, we will rectify the issue in a reasonable time. If we cannot, you may cancel and seek a refund for the unsupplied portion.

5. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at billing@docchase.com.au so we can resolve it directly.

6. How to request a refund

Email billing@docchase.com.au with your account email and reason. Eligible refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

7. GST

All prices are in AUD. GST applies to Australian customers and is shown on your tax invoice.
